Happy 2013'ing

Hiya all you lovely people there.
Now with a 1 post experience, here am back in the blogging world.
A very Happy New Year 2013 all you readers.

Keeping in mind the length of my first blog, am paying very serious attention to not pen down yet another long(boring), let go post. Had been in constant thinking if women love eating meat as the men do. Dont know about all you guys out there, but for me the answer is a straight NO. Hence there is the regular struggle of substituting all the meat meals with a veggie meal at my home.

One such day was this when i had a shot at Malai Kofta(Malai meaning cream and Kofta meaning balls generally: meatballs in Hindi ) in a Vegetarian style.

Kofta:
Balls of boiled potatoes, cauliflower and Paneer(Cottage cheese in Hindi again).
Rolling up with flour can prevent the balls from breaking up
Then the balls are to be deep fried and set aside

Curry:
Then just as how the curry is prepared, saute the onions with masalas(tumeric, chilli, garam masala, coriander powder, jeera powder) and then tomatoes.
Once the above said ingredients have all nicely been cooked, blend it well to make a paste.
Malai(cream) is to be added in this stage. After a few stirs, when the rawness of the tomatoes is gone, gently drop in the fried kofta balls into the curry. Simmer it for few seconds and then garnish with coriander and fresh cream.

Cant help tooting my own horn but the dish was a super hit. ,
Husband loved it.:D :)
Went well with supermarket bought Khubz.

Thank ya for reading :-).
Happy Experimenting!!!
